Institute of Technology Tralee (South Campus)

IT Tralee is noted for its Wildlife Biology programmes and the quality of its Field Science Graduates. We have two streams leading to the BSc (Honours) in Wildlife Biology and the BSc (Honours) in Field Biology with Wildlife Tourism.

The Final Year Wildlife Research Project is a major feature of these courses. Our current final year students will provide an overview of the range of Undergraduate Wildlife Research Projects currently underway. Poster presentations of wildlife research undertaken in recent years will also be on display. Two of our graduates are completing their Postgraduate Research at Masters and Doctorate level on wildlife research topics in the Brandon Mountain area.

You will get a chance to ask questions and learn more of what research is going on, where it is be undertaken and its importance.

This event is being hosted by the Institute Wildlife Society and follows on from the Marine Institute presentation that is being held at the same venue starting at 7.00pm
