Muckross HouseKillarney National Park Education Center is delivering an awareness session for those working in the outdoors in Kerry. The Disease is spread by ticks which transmit the from wild animal populations to humans.
The programme will provide those attending the session with information on Lymes Disease which can affect those working in wilderness settings.
The underlying Science of the disease and how to avoid and manage infection.
The programme will be attended by National Parks and Wildlife Service Rangers, Cappanalea Staff and Wildlife Biology Staff from the Institute of Technology Tralee.
