The Mirror Trap

Date/Time
Date(s) - 15/11/2020
7:30 pm - 8:15 pm

An online immersive experience about quantum physics and psychology.

“The Mirror Trap is a short headphone play/experience/installation/horror story about psychology and quantum physics. Previous audience members have described it as “”weird””, “”trippy””, “”deeply unsettling”” and “”terribly sad””.

It is quite meditative in tone, so don’t expect any jump scares. Some may find some of the content triggering. After the show its creator, Simon Watt, will be joined by special guests to discuss what you have experienced.

This event will take place via Zoom. All ticket holders will be contacted with details of how to access the zoom link and instructions on how to take part, prior to the event. If you want to take part you will need to create some of the ambience at home.

You will need: *a white board marker. *a computer or phone that can use zoom to hear the audio and interact with the visuals. *headphones *a chair, you should be seated. *a mirror you can look into while taking part. If possible a second mirror directly behind you, parallel to the first with you in the middle, though I understand this will be unlikely for most people who are taking part. The effect is considerably more pronounced if you can do all this under dim light conditions. Make sure you are not going to be interrupted, lock doors if you can.

This should be a closed system. Sign up and you will be sent the zoom link and password and instructions on how to take part. Thanks”
