The Day in the LIfe of the Bioeconomy Expo will showcase a state of the art in the Irish innovation, researchers will discuss how they are working with companies such as Glanbia, Carbery, Barilla and Smurfit Kappa to convert waste streams into high value products, examples include:
  • whey into building blocks for bio-plastics
  • waste from paper and cereal milling into cosmetics
  • grass into nutraceuticals.
