Institute of Technology Tralee (North Campus)SUPER FURRY ANIMALS is an interactive workshop on the wild mammal species found in Ireland. It explores the special features and adaptations of these often elusive animals. The impressive collection of ‘stuffed’ specimens amazes children and adults allowing them to appreciate differences between herbivores and carnivores and understand predator prey relationships. Listen to the sounds of the RED, SIKA and FALLOW deer, feel the webbed feet of the otter, the sharp teeth of the mink, the spines of the hedgehog and the brush of the fox.
