Is an outreach initiative run by The Royal Society of Chemistry in partnership with Science Foundation Ireland. Using professional chemistry instruments, students will get the opportunity to become forensic scientists to solve a murder mystery scenario.
Our spectrometers are accurate instruments used by real world forensics (CSI) investigators. They also tie in to the Leaving Cert chemistry curriculum making it ideal for 16-18 year olds interested in learning about the applications of science.
