15-20 students from Meán Scoil Nua an Leith-Triúigh, Castlegregory will be taken on a tour of Murphy’s Ice Cream factory. Here they will learn how Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics has helped with the start-up and development of this iconic ice cream business.
The proof is in the eating; after seeing how STEM is used in the factory the students will have an ice cream tasting in Murphy’s Ice Cream shop in Dingle.
