No phone, no internet, no problem….Using HAM radio you can talk to people all over the world and even people in space..for FREE.
HAM Radio is a great way to challenge you interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Build a radio transceiver or antenna, send messages, documents and pictures without using internet, communicate with the International Space Station (ISS), learn to communicate via morse code or new digital modes and most of all – make new friends. HAM radio is very diverse, and has something for everyone. Stay abreast of the latest communication technology and advances in electronics.

 

A working HAM radio will be available to use on Sat 18th Nov, under the supervision of a licensed experimenter. Members of Kerry Amateur Radio Group (KARG) will be available on the day to provide further details on all aspects HAM Radio. See www.kerryamateurradiogroup.com for more details.
