“Release your creativity and your imagination by building your own homemade chain reaction machine at Explorium. Learn the simple science you can use to build a not so simple Rube Goldberg machine!

Using materials and anything you can find at home, you’ll be bopping, popping, rocking and rolling with your new crazy, silly, but thoroughly enjoyable machine! Suitable for all the family.

Something that rolls: marbles, ping pong ball, tennis ball (even an orange) Tracks to roll on: toilet roll cardboard, toy train tracks, piping, tubes Things that fall: Dominoes, lego bricks, lots of books, cereal boxes, cups, lollipop sticks, balloons Useful equipment: scissors, roll of tape, string, some paper and colouring pens The main thing about a Rube Goldberg machine is that you can really use anything you find around the house, recyclable things are great, the more creative and wacky the better. Everybody can join in with what they have available to them.”
