Kerry Science Festival has been recognised with two award shortlistings in 2026, highlighting the impact of our work in education and public engagement.
Kerry Science Festival was shortlisted for the Education Awards in April , recognising the wider team’s commitment to creating meaningful STEAM experiences and inspiring communities across Kerry and beyond. The category of the award was Best Education Outreach – Community & Public Engagement. Supported by Research Ireland, the festival continues to play an important role in engaging people of all ages and encouraging the next generation of STEM innovators.
We’re also thrilled to be shortlisted as a finalist in the Operational Excellence in Third-Level Education category at the Operational Excellence Awards which will be held on May 27th 2026. We look forward to attending and celebrating with fellow finalists, with fingers crossed for a successful outcome.
